You Know You Are Raising Geeklings When…

You head to the microwave to warm a cup of tea, and discover that the clay version of the angel of death (complete with sword) beat you to it…

(warning: this could become an occasional regular feature.  You have no idea the crazy things that randomly show up around my house!!!)

  1. Sounds like our house!

When I get up in the morning, I never know what version of Linux will have been installed on our family computer. I always check the whiteboard on our fridge to see who has written the day’s Monty Python or Dr. Who quote…..

    • Patti – – Whoa!! Now a Monty Python or Dr. Who quote I can definitely handle!! But the computer thing would freak me out. NOBODY messes with mama’s computer!! 😉

Mom1 – – I REALLY need a video of that… (ahem, Mom2, would you do the honors one of these mornings???)

  2. That’s so funny!

I never know what crazy comic book character is going to try to wrestle me to the ground when I come out every morning.

Living with boys is certainly an adventure. 😉

  3. Hahaha! It’s so refreshing to stumble on a blog about a family that revels in its geekiness–much like we do. For instance, I know I’m raising geeks when my 10 year old comes downstairs dressed head to toe as a clone wars trooper, and nobody batted an eyelash. My 12 year old spent the morning uploading music playlists and sci-fi to Roku. Oh yes–for Halloween this year? We had Doctor Who, (the 10th Doctor) and Lt. Uhura (of Star Trek, 2009)– we were so proud.

Congratulations on your nomination and I’m looking forward to reading more!
